The CAC was empowered in 1974 by the Columbus City Charter to represent the Clintonville community in the discussion of community concerns. Clintonville GreenSpot is a committee of the CAC.

Become a GreenSpot today! You can be a GreenSpot at home or at work! The City of Columbus GreenSpot Program promotes environmental volunteerism, offers resources and helpful information, organizes events, and supports the local community with outreach and access to city staff. Clintonville was the 4th Columbus neighborhood to earn the GreenSpot Neighborhood designation.

Friends of the Lower Olentangy Watershed (FLOW)

FLOW’s mission is to keep the Olentangy River and its tributaries clean and safe for all to enjoy, through public education, volunteer activities, and coordination with local decision-makers.

Franklin Soil and Water Conservation District

Franklin Soil and Water Conservation District’s mission is to promote responsible land use decisions for the conservation, protection and improvement of soil and water resources by providing information and assistance through effective partnering, technical guidance and education.

Keep Columbus Beautiful

Keep Columbus Beautiful is a City of Columbus community improvement program and a national affiliate of Keep America Beautiful. KCB focuses on public education and volunteer service related to quality of life environmental issues including litter, recycling and beautification.

Columbus Recreation and Parks Department

What we do is essential to the overall well-being of our residents. In addition to just being fun, our parks, programs and services give all of us a chance to improve our physical and mental health, to develop our youth, to focus on our environment, and to make a positive economic impact on our city.

SWACO
